This humorous compendium is a classic survey of American comics from spanning from pre-war American newspaper comics strips, to those currently in print. The Comics Since 1945 was first published in 2002 and quickly become an important guide to American comics. Due to the success of the first volume, we followed up with The Comics Before 1945 published in 2004. Combined, the two books have sold nearly 30,000 copies.
