From the author of the multimillion-copy international bestseller "Earth From Above" comes a moving and brilliantly photographed new book. "Home," scheduled to release in conjunction with a film of the same name, is a stunning visual odyssey. A globe-spanning exploration of the planet, complete with Arthus-Bertrand s unforgettable images and an informative text by the team at Good Planet, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development, "Home" is a celebration of Earth s beauty and an impassioned call to protect it from destruction. Compelling and defiantly optimistic, "Home" voyages through over 50 countries, considering the environment s current condition and factors which will play a role in determining its future. As Arthus-Bertrand says, It isn t the 50 percentof forest that has disappeared that s important, but the 50 percentthat s left.
