Six New Plays for Children - Hardcover

The six new plays for children brought together here are:The Royal Cricket of Japan by James Lash; Marlin the Magnificent by James Abrell;The Shoes that Were Danced to Pieces by Dorothy Beck Webb; The Golden Maskby Edward Kessell; Huck Finn by Paul Brady; and The Strolling Playersby Christian Moe and Darwin Reid Payne. All the plays have been tried out in actual production. In subject matter they range from adaptations of fairy tales through traditional comic characters, and include a play with songs and dances and a mystery drama.

The editors, Christian Moe and Darwin Payne, each widely experienced as playwright, director, and scene designer, have provided a foreword describing the production problems of the plays.
