From Center to Circumference: God's Place in the Circle of Self - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

From Center to Circumference tells one woman's spiritual journey to discover a deeper relationship with God in daily life. Spiritual director and author Elizabeth-Anne Vanek provides a basic guidebook to finding the signs of God's call to us in the concrete situations of our lives. She recounts in moving and helpful ways the turning points in her own experience. She is amazingly honest about herself, and her problems and doubts will be recognized by all who follow her lead to the realization that God plays at both the center and the circumference of our self-awareness.
She also assists us in following her own spiritual guides, especially the classic works of St. Augustine's Confessions, and Julian of Norwich's Revelations of Divine Love. This will be both a moving and personal account of coming to know God's action in our lives and a rich source for spiritual direction.
