Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Harry L. Watson is the Atlanta Distinguished Professor of Southern Cultures at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Marcie Cohen Ferris is professor of American studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a former president of the Southern Foodways Alliance.

Charles Reagan Wilson is director of the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi. He is coeditor, with William Ferris, of the original Encyclopedia of Southern Culture, and general editor of the 24-volume New Encyclopedia of Southern Culture.
