Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Rick Atkinson, a former staff reporter and assistant managing editor at The Washington Post, and the author of Crusade (1993), has won numerous awards, including a Pulitzer Prize in 1982. He is currently at work on The Liberation Trilogy, a three-volume history of the American Army in World War II. He lives in Washington, D.C.


Rick Atkinson, recipient of the 2010 Pritzker Military Library Literature Award for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing, is the bestselling author of The Day Of Battle, An Army at Dawn, and In the Company of Soldiers.
