Inhaltsangabe

This text takes as a starting point the fact that researchers who believe that knowledge is a social and cultural construction must apply this principle to themselves and their research. The book explores a range of theoretical issues and perspectives about the nature of knowledge and reflexive knowing and shows how a concern with reflexivity can inform research methodologies and practice. "Research and Reflexivity" should be interesting reading for all concerned with the implications of reflexivity and self-reference for the theory and practice of social science research, in particular issues of responsibility.
