Inhaltsangabe

Many Christians often do not connect their current life struggles to a failure to obey one or all of the Ten Commandments. Pastor Colin Smith, author ofUnlock the Bible in 30 Days and the Unlocking the Bible Story series, presents a powerful argument that these ancient commands are not only relevant to modern life, but also help us gain a better understanding of how to overcome and prevent many of the battles we face.

Every day is full of struggles
We struggle with time, we struggle with truth and authority. We struggle for peace and for purity and contentment and that s just the beginning.
What many of us don t understand is the connection between our failure to obey the Ten Commandments and the very struggles that put us to the test each and every day. And we fail to recognize the very sins that stand in the way of keeping them.
Colin Smith s unique ability to open up Scripture will lead you to a fuller understanding of the Ten Commandments and their relevance to the greatest struggles of your life. You will learn that when you love God fully and unconditionally, His commandments no longer seem the impossible rules of a benevolent dictator, but the firm guidance of a loving father, setting you on the path to the rich life He desires for you, His child.
Colin S. Smith was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Before coming to the States, Pastor Smith served as senior pastor of the Enfield Evangelical Free Church in London for sixteen years. Currently, he serves as senior pastor of the Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
