Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

John James Audubon (1785-1851) was an artist and naturalist who became renown for his works cataloging North American birds. His drawings and watercolors were engraved and published in London by Robert Havell as The Birds of America, which featured 435 hand-colored plates.
