RON ASHKENAS is a partner in the consulting firm of Robert Schaeffer and Associates in Stamford, Connecticut. DAVE ULRICH is professor of business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. TODD JICK is a consultant with the Center for Executive Development in Boston. STEVE KERR was handpicked by Jack Welch to lead the boundary-breaking charge at General Electric; he is vice president, Corporate Leadership Development at GE in Miami.
