HENRY A. ROSSO has almost five decades of experience as a fund raising professional. He is founder and director emeritus of The Fund Raising School, a program at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Rosso is the editor and lead author of Achieving Excellence in Fund Raising (Jossey-Bass, 1991), which won the 1992 Staley/Robeson/Ryan/St. Lawrence Prize for Research on Fund-Raising and Philanthropy presented by the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.
For most of his forty-six-year career, Henry Rosso has worked to enhance and advance the work and lives of professional fund raisers the world over. He is one of the most beloved and respected in the field, and recognized as the person who has most shaped present fund raising practice and theory.
