An exciting, thought-provoking novel of love as steadfast as an angel's, as deep as God's--a passionate story of mercy and forgiveness as great as heaven itself. How is it that Tabris, a special guardian in God's eyes, has come to commit the one unforgiveable crime for guardian angels? And more alarming to the entire celestial world, why did he get away with it?
This book was republished in 2012 under the title The Wrong Enemy, under the author's married name, Jane Lebak. It is available as a Kindle edition and in paperback.

I started this book when I was nineteen, and it was published when I was twenty-one, and I am delighted that people still remember it and love it.In 2012, I regained my rights to the book and rewrote the whole thing from beginning to end. I still love the original book, but I'm not nineteen anymore and I know a bit more about writing and a bit more about the world. I hope the new version of the book reflects that. I don't think there are three sentences the same between the two versions. The new version is called The Wrong Enemy, and you can find it under my married name (Jane Lebak) and I would encourage anyone who wants to read this story to read it under that title.Thank you so much! I love hearing from fans.About the Author:
This Jane Hamilton is not the Jane Hamilton who wrote "The Book of Ruth" and a lot of other amazing novels. This Jane Hamilton is now writing under her married name, Jane Lebak, and apologizes for the confusion.
