It is illustrated with color photos and b&w maps and graphs. This fourth edition now recommends the 100-year mean recurrence interval (MRI) as the basis for design. It adds new wind speed and ice thickness maps for the US, allowing users to apply wind and ice loads associated with other MRIs. New photos and diagrams have also been added.
