Inhaltsangabe

Tim couldn't breath. He tried to scream, but no sound came; his throat was dry, tight, aching. He was going to die this time, he knew it.

Life in war-time London is anything but normal for Tim Athelstan. Nights spent huddled in bomb shelters. Hitler's dreaded V-bombs screaming overhead with their tails of flame. And a father missing in action somewhere in Europe.

Then Tim move to the country where things are quieter. That is, until he meets Bill, a Canadian pilot stationed nearby, and a shifty character named Sciver..
