Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

CAROLE GERSON is Professor Emerita in the English department at Simon Fraser University. She is co-editor of volume 3 (1918-1980) of History of the Book in Canada, author of Canadian Women in Print, 1750-1918, which won the Gabrielle Roy Prize for Canadian criticism, and co-author of Hearing More Voices: English-Canadian Women in Print and on the Air, 1914-1960 with Peggy Lynn Kelly. She is the recipient of the Marie Tremaine medal from the Bibliographical Society of Canada.

GWENDOLYN DAVIES is Dean Emerita of Graduate Studies at the University of New Brunswick. She has authored, edited, and co-edited seven books, as well as over sixty book chapters and articles. She is the recipient of the Queen's Jubilee Medal for her contribution to Canadian Studies and has been made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
