This audio documentary--which originated in television and sounds like the audio track from a TV show--is designed for popular audiences and in its brevity, can do little more than touch upon major points. As such, the presentation fails to explain Fitzgerald's literary importance. Furthermore, some of the readers are a bit maladroit, the productionoccasionally clumsy. Still, Biography's house style is expressive, and Jack Perkins is a fine reader and friendly presence. In the end, the bio may hook listeners in spite of its flaws. Y.R. (c)AudioFile, Portland, Maine
