" Terminology, 2nd Edition" provides students with a comprehensive guide to terminology. The text is designed to introduce students to words, phrases, definitions, synonyms, pronunciation and usage. The exercises use a variety of proven educational devices that help students memorize terms, spelling and meaning, including flash cards for each term as well as a Windows-based flash card computer disk. These devices include term search puzzles, multiple choice, true/false, matching, sentence completion, synonym selection and case application activities. The text contains 20 units, with each unit beginning with an introductory narrative, and identifies and defines more than 750 key terms. A new unit on the Federal System and the courts has been added to this 2nd edition.
