Reseña del editor:
Andromeda is weaving her way through a maze of space anomalies and wormholes, when a sudden attack forces the ship into an anomaly. Once on the other side, the crew finds they have slipped into a different dimension, and suddenly the Dylan they know is gone, replaced by a very different Dylan. The crew must choose between an act of obedience or an act of mutiny as they follow a dangerous course into deep space with a foreign captain they cannot trust. Meanwhile, Dylan finds himself on a strangely different Andromeda in another dimension, one where he may have to sabotage his own ship if he hopes to return to the ship he knows and loves. Exciting space adventure with Beka Valentine, Trance Gemini, and the rest of the crew lies dead ahead.
Contraportada:
Captain Dylan Hunt and the crew of the Andromeda are in trouble-in alternate dimensions!

The heroes of GENE RODDENBERRY'S ANDROMEDA are all on board for another exciting deep space adventure. But while the crew is used to fighting enemies, this time the enemies might be within the crew itself. When a surprise attack by an unidentified fleet of ships forces the Andromeda into a space anomaly, the ship finds itself in another dimension. Suddenly, the Dylan they know is gone, a very different, sinister Dylan having taken his place. The crew must cope with him and survive the space anomaly, while they try to get their own captain back again. Beka Valentine, Seamus Harper, Tyr Anasazi, Rev Bem and Trance Gemini have dealt with strange and difficult troubles before, but now the fate of two different universes hinges on a mission unlike anything they've ever known.

Praise for the Andromeda novels

"DeCandido captures the world and characters of the show perfectly, giving fans much to enjoy here."
--Booklist on Destruction of Illusions

"The Broken Places explores the wildest realms of Gene Roddenberry's imagination with the rich depth and texture that only a novel can aspire to."
--Carleton Eastlake, Executive Consultant, Farscape

"The Broken Places is a fast-dance of a magically imagined space trip--true to the playful energy and open-ended adventurous spirit of the legacy. Ethlie has once again given us lots of fun--and it's wonderful to spend some quality time with this great cast of beloved characters." -- Majel Roddenberry
