After working for years as an investigative reporter, six years ago Christi Daugherty decided to leave that gritty life behind and see the world (or at least Europe). Leaving her longtime home in New Orleans, she moved to England, which she uses as a base for writing and editing travel guidebooks. Her work has also appeared in the Dallas Morning News, the Washington Post, Time Out London, and the Financial Times. She is also the author of the first edition of Frommer’s Paris Day by Day.
