About the Authors A resident of the Big Island, Jeanette Foster has skied the slopes of Mauna Keaduring a Fourth of July ski meet, no lessand gone scuba diving with manta rays off the Kona Coast. A prolific writer widely published in travel, sports, and adventure magazines, shes also a contributing editor to Hawaii magazine and the editor of Zagats Survey to Hawaiis Top Restaurants. Kauai-born Jocelyn Fujii, a resident of Honolulu, is one of Hawaiis leading journalists. She has authored Under the Hula Moon: Living in Hawaii and The Best of Hawaii, as well as articles for the New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, Islands, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel Holiday, and other national and international publications. She is a contributing editor to Spirit of Aloha magazine and a columnist for Hawaii Westways. In addition to this guide, Jeanette and Jocelyn are the coauthors of Frommers Hawaii; Frommers Maui; and Frommers Honolulu, Waikiki Oahu.
