This updated test preparation manual with an optional CD-ROM readies teacher candidates for the PRAXIS I and PRAXIS II exams. PRAXIS I covers the PPST (Pre-Professional Skills Tests), and PRAXIS II covers the PLT (Principles of Learning and Teaching), Elementary Education Subject Assessments, Parapro Assessments (used to meet paraprofessional requirements), and Subject Assessments.This manual presents three PPSTs, three PLTs, four Elementary Education Subject Assessment tests, and seven additional Subject Assessment tests. All practice tests come with answers and explanations. Also included are study advice and test-taking strategies, and subject reviews with quizzes in writing, math, and reading. The author explains how the tests are scored and lists state-by-state certification testing requirements. The CD-ROM that is enclosed with the manual contains virtually all of the book’s contents, including computerized practice tests with automatic scoring.
