A Tale of Two Goats

Tom Barber

Illustrated by Rosalind Beardshaw

Farmer Cole is afraid that Farmer Jones’ goat is eating up all his vegetables. Farmer Jones thinks it’s Farmer Cole’s goat who is eating his vegetables. That’s why Farmer Cole and Farmer Jones each decide to build a fence. But the goats are very good friends. And both goats are experts at chewing through wooden fences . . . and at digging tunnels under brick walls . . . and even at jumping over very high fences. What can Farmer Cole and Farmer Jones do to keep both their goats and themselves happy? Here’s an amusing story with a moral that every boy and girl will understand.
