Mark Woolcock works as the Lead Practitioner for an Out-of-Hours Doctor Service in Cornwall and occasionally works for the local Ambulance Service in Cornwall as well. Mark is the vice chair of the British Paramedic Association (the professional body for Paramedics) the Alternate Council Member on the Health Professions Council (the regulatory body for Paramedics), he sits on JRCALC (Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee) which provides the guidelines for all ambulance services to work to and also sits on the EPLS subcommittee of the Resuscitation Council (UK). Mark is part of the steering committee for PEPP ( paediatric education for prehospital professionals) course and also the working group for PHPLS (prehospital paediatric life support) course. Mark is the UK Editor for the UK Nancy Caroline Emergency Care in the Street textbook.
