Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Mary Ellen McFadden, RN, MA, OCN received her bachelor degrees in biology and nursing from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and her graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. She has devoted her entire professional career to oncology, first as a research biologist in hematology and bone marrow transplant at Johns Hopkins University and later as a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Amgen. Mary Ellen has authored numerous publications and has presented frequently at both national and international educational symposia.

Barbara Poniatowski, MS, RN, AOCN received her associate arts degree from Essex Community College, her bachelor's degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and her graduate degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Barbara has 25+ years of oncology experience as a clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, and a clinical specialist. She was the first recipient of the Oncology Nursing Society's Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse of the Year.

Susan Temple, RN, MSN, AOCN received her BSN from the University of Alabama School of Nursing and her MSN from the University of South Alabama. Susan was awarded an American Cancer Society Fellowship in Oncology Nursing while at South Alabama. Her post-master's work is from the University of Alabama, School of Nursing. Susan has over 25 years of experience in oncology nursing as a clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, and program administrator in molecular oncology/oncology drug development.
