Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Deborah Berg is an Oncology Nursing Consultant for academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, educational companies, professional organizations, and marketing groups. She develops and/ or presents educational programs on topics including, but not limited to, symptom management, cancer basics, clinical trials, and colorectal cancer. For 2 years, she has worked for Pharmacia Corporation first as an Oncology Education Specialist and recently as a Clinial Research Liaison. For 18 years, she worked in various oncology nursing roles at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, most recently in the Center for Gastrointestinal Cancer as the Program Administration/ Clinical Trials Manager. Ms. Berg received a BSN for the University of Southern Maine. She is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society. Ms. Berg is an active speaker and presents frequently on the topic of colorectal cancer treatment options and clinical trials. She has authored and co-authored numerous manuscripts, which have appeared in journals such as Seminars in Oncology, Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, and the Oncology Nursing Forum.
