David Dye created World Cafe in 1991 and still hosts it today. He has interviewed over 3,000 musicians and gladdened the hearts of countless fans with his discovered treasures of rock, folk, blues, and alternative music. World Cafe and Dye have received numerous awards, including a Gold Reel, Album Network's ?Best Triple A Air Talent,” and Philadelphia Magazine's ?Best Local Radio Host.” Dye lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
