Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Pat Milner is a Fellow of BACP. Former Features Editor of Counselling (The Journal of the BACP), she trained on the first British counselling course at Reading University and later as a Fulbright scholar at SUNY Buffalo, USA. A pioneer of school and university counselling, she was Founder Chair of the Association for Student Counselling (now AUCC), the oldest division of BACP. Prior to her recent retirement, worked at Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Stephen Palmer PhD, is Founder Director of the Centre for Stress Management, London. He is Honorary Professor of Psychology in the Centre for Health and Counselling Psychology at City University, London, and Visiting Professor at Middlesex University and Consultant Director of the New Zealand Centre for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. He is a Fellow of the BACP, former Managing Editor of Counselling (The Journal of the BACP) and author of numerous books and articles on counselling and stress management.
