Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ruth Wodak is Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Vienna. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, text linguistics, language in politics, prejudice and discrimination, gender studies, and the sociology of language. She has lectured widely and sits on the advisory board of a range of journals including: Text, Discourse and Society, Patterns of Prejudice and Written Communication. Her books include: Language Behavior in Therapy Groups (Los Angeles, 1986), The Languge of Love and Guilt (Benjamins, Amsterdam 1986), and The Disorders of Discourse (Longman, 1996).
