Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Elinor De Wire is also the author of Voyageur Press's Lighthouses of the South and Lighthouses of the Mid-Atlantic Coast. She has been researching and photographing lighthouses for more than twenty-five years and has written nine books and more than fifty articles on the topic. Her travels to more than 400 lighthouses worldwide are the focus of her lectures and articles. She serves in a variety of capacities for a number of non-profit lighthouse preservation groups and chairs the youth initiative for the American Lighthouse Foundation. She lives in Seabeck, Washington.
