Inhaltsangabe

Ashford Then & Now clearly illustrates the controversial redevelopment and unprecedented change that have overtaken this small town in Kent during the last half century. The last time a book like this was published was 1983, since when Ashford has almost doubled in size. Steve Salter has been collecting photographs of the town for the last seventeen years, and is an acknowledged authority on the history of his home town from the 1950s to date. This, his second book, will appeal to everyone who knows Ashford, whether as long-time resident or recent arrival
