This is the 3rd edition of a textbook covering quantum mechanics for physics undergraduates. Some knowledge of atomic physics and mathematics, typical of that achieved by a first-year student, is assumed. Problems and hints to the solutions accompany each chapter. The revised edition includes updated discussion of modern experimental methods, a revised treatment of the Clebsch-Gordon coefficients and a fuller discussion of spontaneous emission in the chapter on time dependence. The chapter on associated conceptual problems has been largely rewritten in the light of recent developments in this area of the subject.
