This is the first authoritative biography of Slobodan Milosevic, currently on trial at The Hague for crimes against humanity. Adam LeBor extensively covered the Yugoslav wars for the Independent and The Times, and is now the Central Europe Correspondent for The Times. He is the author of the best-selling Hitler's Secret Bankers: How Switzerland Profited from Nazi Genocide and of Seduced by Hitler: The Choices of a Nation and the Ethics of Survival and A Heart Turned East: Among the Muslims of Europe and America.
