John Steele Gordon is the author of Hamilton's Blessing and The Scarlet Woman of Wall Street. He writes a popular column on American business history for American Heritage, contributes to the op-ed pages of The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, and can be heard on public radio's Marketplace. He lives in North Salem, New York. The Great Game was adapted for television by CNBC.
