Inhaltsangabe

The biggest collection of manga resource art ever seen. The CD contains 100 complete, ready drawn figures, plus 100 heads, 100 upper bodies, 100 lower bodies for 1,000,000 possible permutations. The book explains how to construct and color the figures and how to insert them into existing art. The book also acts as a visual catalog of the manga figures that are on the disk.

Yishan Li's One Million Manga Figures is a uniquely useful--and fun--resource for manga artists. A custom program on the accompanying CD (supported by both Mac and PC platforms) allows 100 heads, 100 upper bodies, and 100 sets of legs to be combined into 1,000,000 possibilities. All of the elements have been specially drawn, and the resulting combinations are by turns dynamic, sexy, futuristic, frightening, or all of those things at once.

The book acts as a visual catalog of the elements on the disc, and gives advice on exporting your newly created characters and using them in your own art. Perfect for manga novices and experts alike, One Million Manga Figures boasts an unprecedented array of high-quality manga art from a respected leader in the medium.
