Students love ragtime, and early-level students will enjoy this adaptation of the style in 3/4 meter. A care-free waltz is created with a syncopated right-hand melody and an easy left-hand accompaniment using broken fifths. Written in C major, there are some accidentals and harmonic thirds scattered throughout. The A-B-A form is created through the use of a D. S. al fine.
