Yanofski graduated top in his class from West Orange High School. During high school he was active as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for the West Orange First Air Squad. He was accepted into a combined 6-year BA/MD accelerated medical program through Lehigh University in affiliation with MCP Hahnemann University.
