Carol Blackman, M.A., is a journalist who writes about lifestyle trends. She regularly advises readers about health and fitness, business on the Internet, and travel destinations. Carol spent 14 years as a reporter, columnist, editor, and manager with two daily newspapers in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Peninsula Times Tribune and the San Jose Mercury News. She has been a regular contributor to San Francisco Focus magazine and the San Francisco Nob Hill Gazette. And most recently, she has contributed to new media projects by writing for Internet websites. Elise Browning Miller, M.A., is a Senior Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, who has been teaching yoga since 1976 and has studied numerous times with B.K.S. Iyengar and Geeta Iyengar in India. She has published numerous articles in Yoga Journal and other national magazines. Elise travels internationally to give workshops on yoga for back care.
