Jocelyn Moss, the longtime research librarian at the Marin History Museum, and Michelle Sarjeant Kaufman, the museum's director, have delved into the recent history of San Rafael to share new stories. Bruce Schwarze has been an invaluable researcher. Drawing from the photographic collection of the Marin History Museum, the authors have researched many photographs to make this lively history available to a modern audience.
