Marshall H. Klaus, M.D., internation ally known neonatologist, is the author or co-auth or of several standard works in the field, includi ng Bonding and Care of the High-Risk Newborn. John H. Kennell, M.D., Professor of Pediatri cs at Case Western Reserve Medical School, in Clev eland, Ohio, is co-author with Marshall and Phylli s Klaus of Bonding and Mothering the Mother. Toget her with Marshall Klaus, he was awarded the Anders on Aldrich Award in Pediatrics, the highest award in the profession.Phyllis H. Klaus, C.S.W., M.F.C.C., teaches and practices psychotherapy at the Erikson Institute in Santa Rosa and practi ces in Berkeley, California.
