Topics encompass all aspects of contracts, including intent, consideration, remedies, statute of frauds, parole evidence rule and interpretation of contract, avoidance of contract, conditions and promises, anticipatory repudiation, third party beneficiaries, and assignment and delegation. Special attention is given to terminology and the historical development of the law. Among the cases included are Burger King Corp. v. Family Dining Inc., to illustrate forfeiture as an excuse; United States v. Algernon Blair, Inc., on restitution for breach; and Hoffman v.
