It covers virtually the whole field of agricultural valuations and practice including tenant right valuations, improvements, fixtures, milk quotas and dilapidations. In addition, there are chapters on pipeline and electricity wayleave claims, notices to remedy breaches, together with probate, income tax and compulsory purchase valuations. Other chapters deal with valuation of farms, farm rents, inventories, records of condition, valuation clauses in the sale of farms, livestock soild, SSSI's, schedules for notices and a glossary of useful information.

The chapter on arbitrations has been expanded with an example of a statement of reasons. Also, independent expert determination is dealt with, as is the Arbitrations Act 1996. A chapter on farm business tenancies under the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 is included.
