India paper, red speckled edges, no inscriptions or other markings, unused. 1979 facsimile edition of Johnson's original dictionary published in two volumes in 1755. Foreward by Robert Burchfield. A few small light marks to boards else fine. Slipcase is very robust, matching coloured dark red paper covering, some very light edgewear.
