Inhaltsangabe

At last a lone metallurgist has successfully decoded the mysterious Copper Scroll that has baffled scholars since its discovery in 1952.

In his extraordinary research of the Copper Scroll, Robert Feather has made two amazing but interlinked discoveries:

Part of the Dead Sea Scrolls, The Copper Scroll is an elaborate treasure map, listing 64 coded locations were gold, silver, beautifully crafted jewellery and ritual clothing were hidden over 2,000 years ago. This news will cause great excitement amongst archaeologists throughout the world. In 1959 & 1960 John Allegro of Manchester University led unsuccessul trips to find the treasure. His following translation of the Scroll. Robert Feather has now filled in the missing pieces of the puzzle.

The accumulation of significant new research to back the old but neglected theory that the origins of the world’s three great monotheistic religions can all be traced to Ancient Egypt and in particular to the Pharoah Akhenaten. The book will show why it makes such sense that Moses was in fact an Egyptian and answer many other historical anomalies & puzzles.

Professor George Brooke of Manchester University who recently organised the Copper Scroll exhibition in Manchester supports Robert Feather’s findings and has written the foreword.

Von der hinteren Coverseite

Since the Copper Scroll was discovered in 1952, its contents have baffled scholars the world over…until now. Painstaking research by professional metallurgist, Robert Feather, has uncovered the Copper scroll's meaning and opened up a vault of hidden treasure.

One of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Copper Scroll is an elaborate treasure map, listing 64 coded locations where gold, silver, beautifully crafted jewellery and ritual clothing were hidden over 2,000 years ago.

The Dead Sea Scrolls record the activities and sacred writings of a secretive Jewish sect – the Qumran Essenes – who lived at the time of Jesus. Not only has Robert Feather's decoding of the Copper Scroll led to a discovery of beautiful artefacts, but he has also unearthed another more controversial treasure – an ancient link between the Essenes and the most advanced, wealthy civilisation in the ancient world – the Egyptians. These connections will profoundly challenge our most fundamental beliefs in the origins of Western religions.

'I found myself devouring 'The Copper Scroll Decoded' in a single setting…'

Paperback. Zustand: Very Good. In his research of the Copper Scroll, Robert Feather has made two interlinked discoveries: firstly the location of the treasure that is referred to in the Scroll, not only the silver, gold and jewellery that is already in museums but also the exact sites at which the remaining items lie buried. This news will cause excitement amongst archaeologists throughout the world. In 1959 & 1960 John Allegro of Manchester University led unsuccessul trips to find the treasure. His translation of the Scroll had been based on some misconceptions that Robert Feather has now been able to identify. Secondly, the accumulation of new research to back the old but neglected theory that the origins of the world's three great monotheistic religions can all be traced to Ancient Egypt and in particular to the Pharoah Akhenaten. The author will show why it makes such sense that Moses was in fact an Egyptian and answer many other historical anomalies and puzzles. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition.
