Dr Edward Bach discovered 38 flower remedies e.g. heather, gentian, elm, crab apple etc. which when taken work on both the emotional and physical level.
This is the most comprehensive book on the Bach Flower Remedies. As well as describing the 38 remedies, it goes into the spiritual and psychological application of the therapy so that both patients and practitioners can gain deeper insight into the underlying concepts.

Health problems often have their origins in the mind. Feelings that have been persistently repressed emerge first as mental conflicts and later as physical illness.
Dr Edward Bach, a physician disenchanted with orthodox medicine, came to realise this. His many years of study and research culminated in the discovery of 38 flower remedies. He found that by working on the deep disharmony within the patient, these remedies paved the way to recovery from physical symptoms.
'Bach Flower Therapy' also explains the spiritual and psychological applications of the remedies, so the reader can gain a greater awareness of how they work and how to use them for self healing.
Mechtchild Scheffer is a practitioner who runs the Bach Centres in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
