Inhaltsangabe

Cuchulainn is one of the great heroes of ancient Irish legend. Known as the Hound of Ulster, he stood alone against the invading armies of the four provinces of Erin until the other mighty warriors of Emain Macha recovered from their strange sickness. Ulster historian Michael Sheane retells the legend of the Cattle Raid of Cuailnge in all its raw and bloodthirsty detail from the birth of Cuchulainn to the last great battle on the field of Gairech.
