This bibliography is the seventh quinquennial supplement to the primary sequence which covered the years 1906-1955, published in 1958. It cumulates the entries from issues of "The Quarterly Index Islamicus", volumes 6 to 10 inclusive, plus a considerable number of items which have not appeared in the quarterlies. It consists of 30,000 entries arranged in broad subject categories. Monograph entries have fuller annotations than in previous cumulations and there is expanded coverage of South and South-East Asia as well as Russian material included for the first time. The expanded name index includes editors, compilers, translators and biographees and a subject index is included for the first time.
