This is a workbook providing a framework for revision of the Key Stage 3 at Year 9 requirements of the English National Curriculum Orders. Suggested answers and mark schemes are included. The material can be used by pupils preparing for tests at the end of Key Stage 3. Attainment Targets Reading and Writing are covered in the three sections of the book by means of language exercises, types of writing and response to reading. In order to provide pupils across the full ability range with opportunities to develop skills and expertise, exercises ranging in levels of difficulty have been included. The exercises are both instructional and practical, with guidance given where necessary and relevant tasks set. Mark schemes have been included to indicate to pupils the relative importance of the various questions within an exercise.
