Reverend Robert Newton Flew was educated at Merton College (Oxford), and at Marburg University and Freibourg University. He worked as a Minister successively at Winchmore Hill, Clapham, and Muswell Hill and has held the Greenhalgh Chair of New Testament Language and Literature, Wesley House, Cambridge.
