Inhaltsangabe

This collection of workshops offers a unique opportunity for quilters to learn from the masters of their cherished craft. Drawn from around the world, top names such as Lynette Jenson (of Thimbleberries), Jan Bolton (textile pictures), Joanna Figueroa (of "Fig Tree Quilts") have come together to share their expertise in this practical guide to a range of quilt patterns and techniques. Each of the chapters begins with a guide to the quilter's work and inspiration, followed by a practical project. Covering colour choice, special techniques, liberated quilts and fabric collage, this is an invaluable insight into the creativity of the master crafters and will become a treasured reference for quilters everywhere.
