Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Bill Birkett is one of Britain's foremost mountain writers and photographers, and is a leading climber and hill walker. Son of Lakeland rock-climbing poineer Jim Birkett, he has spent a lifetime exploring the hills and wild places. His breathtaking photography illustrates numerous publications, and his own books include the best-selling Complete Lakeland Fells. He lives near Ambleside in Cumbria with his wife and two children.
